hi, there!

Nice to see you here, I'm Larissa - Journalist, Product Designer and Pedro's mother 😊

I have a degree in journalism since 2016 and I've worked as a content producer until 2019. That's when I decided to migrate to UX Design, where I really found myself as a professional and fell in love with UX. I'm really inspired as a designer about having a chance to heal some of peoples pains in ways others couldn't imagine. Sometimes, the most obvious solution isn't that obvious!

I'm very dedicated to the mission of simplify the complicated and make simpler and more fluid flows on digital products, making it more accessible to everyone and anyone.

I love team work because I believe this is how we can develop many skills and are able to learn and to teach. But I also have a great experience working by myself, that's how I developed my self management, organization and hands-on skills. I've worked on startups (fintech) and big companies.

Let's talk! Message me ✉️😉

TOOLS I USE___

my design process

METHODOLOGY___

1

engagement

When starting a project, I like to bring the team together to make sure everyone is aligned on the value we want to deliver and the business goals. By gathering designers, engineers, and product specialists, we map out our questions about the project and identify what is technically and strategically feasible. I also make a point of reviewing past reports to check for any existing assumptions or unanswered questions, as well as data that might be useful for this specific case.

research

I talk to strategic stakeholders to understand the current landscape. I check whether there are any previous user interviews or research studies that might be relevant to the current project. I believe research is the most important step in the design process. That’s why I use both quantitative and qualitative methods to gather valuable insights that support informed design decisions.

Benchmarking and desk research also help me understand how other companies are tackling — or failing to tackle — similar challenges.

2

concept

This stage includes creating personas, user flows or journeys, and wireframes. I also conduct usability testing (moderated or unmoderated) to validate the idea — often using Maze for more detailed reports. Then, I gather the results and move on to the UI design phase, applying the design system to high-fidelity prototypes, which are used for another round of usability testing, when possible. I wrap up with a concept validation session with the team and create all the necessary design documentation for handoff.
